Autodidactic and audacious, Sarah Morrison had no formal training in photography, yet photography has been beckoning her ever since she converted a corner of her mother’s laundry room into a dark room as a teenager.  Pursing film photography as a hobby, her pursuits abruptly ended when her 35 MM camera was stolen.  Sarah put her photography on hold and went on to study design while living in San Francisco.  After working in the interior design world, she made the decision to return to her first love, photography,and within a year became a contributing photo editor for Filter Magazine, shot multiple album covers and had her photography published internationally.

Both music and photography have been lifelong passions for Sarah. Exposed at an early age to her father’s  scratchy old record collection. Sarah has always been greatly inspired by music.  While she does enjoy capturing documentary style photography,specifically live music performances, her gifts inevitably steer her towards creating conceptual portraiture, often other worldlyand at times  surreal.   Her dreamscapes transcend the mundane confines of the here and now and offer a glimpse into an unfamiliar reality.  As stated by Patrick Campbell-Lyons (Nirvana UK), “Sarah is a star and she’ll have you seeing stars…”
